Blocks are designed to eliminate tedious wax buildup of multiple-unit porcelain framework. Each four pontic section eliminates the need to individually place single-pontic forms, reducing wax-up time dramatically. When softened by warming, the special pure wax formula allows the four pontic section to be carved, narrowed, or bent to fit even the most complex case without loss of anatomical detail. When cooled, the four-pontic section becomes rigid, thus controlling wax distortion when constructing patterns for one-piece castings.

Redi-Form Pontic™ Blocks 4-Unit Wax Patterns With Lingual Support Bands

The narrow buccal/lingual width and low-profile occlusal contour eliminates excessive wax carving and permits optimum porcelain thickness. Pontics offer broad interproximal upright connectors and precision-carved lingual support bands for frameworks with superior strength.

Pontic Block Patterns Available in small, medium and large sizes; packages of 15 four-unit patterns.

Precision sculptured patterns designed by Kenneth Guthrie, CDT, for naturally esthetic contours and proportions feature collarless design for full-coverage porcelain. belle de St. Claire Sculpturing Waxes and Dipping Wax are also available in the Bio-Pontic light blue color for monochromatic waxing of abutment copings and pontics.
